Translation

I translate from Danish to English and from English to Danish.

Recently, I translated Eva Egeskjold's homepage for Andersen og Vig inkluding some chapters from Eva's fatasy series Næslandet (The Nesslands).
Edward Broadbridge, originally English and now an English teacher in Denmark, wrote: "Beatrix has done a splendid job translating".

I have also translated an excerpt of a novel by Seraphina Agerskov which was published in Paperfox Literary Magazine.

Previously, I have made subtitles for documentaries on Netflix, and I have also had one short story in English published and another accepted for publication (The latter should be out in 2018).

My language skills come from my parents who have made me fully bilingual. Apart from that, I live in Denmark and studied English for a year at the University of Copenhagen.

Since I have a master's degree in mathematics, took some courses in computer science and have worked as a software developer, I also have the knowledge and vocabulary to do more technical translations.
