- Poetry is meant to be heard

From the top of Kyrkja. Among other things, it is views like this one which inspire me to write.

Who am I?

I was born in 1990 and later that same year, my love of stories began. When I was somewhere between eight and ten, I began making a picture book which I called "prasten der ikke troed på gud" (The Priest Who did not Believe in God, with priest and believe spelled wrong). I made the front cover and the first page in MS Paint, before I realised that I had no idea what should happen next.

When I was in 2.g (about equivalent to high school), I joined HUF (Håbefulde Unge Forfattere, translated: Hopeful Young Writers), and that really put my writing into gear. I had my first short story published, Den sidste vagt (The Last Watch), in the anthology Ad mørke stier (Down Dark Paths), which Rollespilsforlaget (The Role-Play Publishing House) made in collaboration with HUF.

During the following years, I first studied English for a year at the University of Copenhagen and then changed my mind and studied mathematics until I completed my master's degree.
I also had the following stories published:
* Orm (Worm) in Fremmed stjerne, Lige under overfladen 6
* Flugten (The Escape) in Novum #109 (flash fiction)
* Chatbot in Nær og fjern, Lige under overfladen 7
* Fluer og Koldbrand (Flies and Gangrene) in Skybrud
* Græsset må ikke betrædes (Keep off the Grass) in De sidste kærester på månen, Lige under overfladen 9
* There is Nothing Keeping You in British Fantasy Society Journal #12

Since then, I have had my short story, Alice i Eventyrland (Alice in Wonderland), accepted for publication in Forlaget Silhuet's anthology, #moderneeventyr (#modernfairytales), which will be published in the spring of 2018.

The latest news is that my short story, Imperfect Flowers, has been published by Buckshot Magazine. You can read it here.

I also perform my (English) poetry here and there and will happily give you a performance. Just send me a mail at
